Venues
The Folkers primarily play venues throughout the north of Ireland though they have also been known to jet off to foreign lands to aid in the enlightenment of friendly locals to their varied audible delights.
(2004. Kells Irish Bar, Seattle, U.S.A) As St Patrick's Day approaches each year, the band pack up their instruments (including Johnny's treasured tambourine) and take to the road for numerous days of song, dance, music and craic...oh and copious amounts of coffee and tea.
(2005. McKibbin's Irish Bar, Montreal, Canada) Over the years they have played in many countries such as Canada, the United States, England and Germany to name but a few and have have been blessed to play to audiences in Philadelphia, Miami, Portland, Seattle, Montreal, Düsseldorf, London and even Swatragh.
(Dormans, Magherafelt, N. Ireland) With 6 members in the group there are plenty of contacts and no shortage of events to play. Please check local press for dates and more details of venues. Come see us if we are near you.
