St Patrick's Day in Germany - 2006

Germany - the country that played host to the World Cup in 2006 also staged the presence of The Crazy Folkers.  Over the St Patrick's weekend the lads played three gigs in the famous Fritzpatrick's Irish Pub and conducted another crazy performance at An Crannog Irish Pub in Oberhausen.  Thanks to all who came to see us and for the great support we enjoyed during our stay - you guys rock!

A special thanks to Patrick, his family and all the staff at Fritzpatricks and An Crannog for showing us a great time.  The food was great, the drink endless and the craic mighty.  Cheers for keeping us well fed and watered.  Patrick also helped us out a few times on stage - keep up the singing big lad!

On the Sunday evening we had to opportunity of providing the music for a great ceili.  Very impressive and the most of you would put Riverdance to shame.  Even Kevin had the chance to show off his alternative traditional dancing (keep to the drumming).

Thanks again to John 'the Crazy Folker model' for showing everyone how our Tee shirts should be worn. You definitely helped sell a great product - sales rocketed!  For those who didn't manage to get their hands on one in the stampede - not to worry, just drop us a line!

Cheers to the support of Karl Heinz (Charles Henry)  for his fantastic washboard accompaniment - if Johnnie decides to get a real job we will definitely give you a shout to go on tour with us.  Thanks also to his daughter Simone for all the pictures you see here and in Gallery 7.  Nice job!  Hope you all enjoyed your trip to Ireland.

Thanks also to all those who performed with us throughout our stay.

Hope you all had a great time, we sure did.  Keep in touch and hopefully we will meet again in the near future!
